Conditions of Use

To pre-register for the STS dinner meeting, please review and accept our credit card policy.
  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
  • If you do not wish to prepay with a credit card, payment of the higher fee at the door is accepted in the form of cash or check. Credit cards will not (yet) be accepted at the door.
  • Refunds will be not provided.
  • If you have prepaid for a meeting and do not attend, the payment is forfeited.
  • If you have prepaid for a meeting and find that you cannot attend, you may transfer your meeting payment to another person. In this case, you must print your receipt and write a short note stating that you allow your designee to attend in your place. The designee must be specifically named. You must sign this receipt and the designee must bring it to the meeting. Any payment exchange for this transference will be solely between you and your designee.
  • Cancellations after 4 PM Tuesday of meeting week will forfeit the payment. We are required to provide a guaranteed number of dinners 48 hours prior to meeting time.
  • If you must cancel after you have prepaid due to extenuating circumstances, please contact the Chair or Chair-Elect. You may be allowed to apply your payment to a future meeting, within 3 meetings of the cancelled meeting. If the payment is not applied within the 3-month allowance, it is forfeited. This allowance may be carried over the non-meeting summer months. Approval is at the Chair/Chair-Elect’s discretion. You may reach them at chair@sts-aiche.org or chair-elect@sts-aiche.org
     
  • You may register more than one person per charge.
  • If you register more than one guest, and each guest has a different special meal request, please add one person with their special request, then add a 2nd with their meal request, and so on. Since you are working with a shopping cart, you may add as many individual requests as necessary and your credit card will only be charged once.
  • A receipt of your transaction will be provided via an email to the email address you enter when you check out. You may print it and bring it to the meeting, but it is not required. The email address is not related in any way to the email distribution list.
  • When you enter your email address upon checkout, you will NOT be added to the email distribution list. This is ONLY used to provide you with a receipt for your purchase.
  • You will be required to sign in at the meeting to verify that you did attend.
