The ProfDev Workshop Group of STS-AIChE holds a workshop prior to the monthly STS-AIChE dinner meeting.
The first Professional Development workshop was chartered in April 2009 by STS-AIChE and presented for the first time at the September 2009 monthly meeting. The idea behind the Professional Development workshop is to have speakers provide information on subjects that are of interest to our local chemical engineer members but that do not necessarily follow the practice of chemical engineering. Some examples of sessions planned are - Engineering Ethics by Alan Rossiter, Founder & President of Rossiter & Associates, Become a Resonant Leader by Stephen J. Blakesley, Managing Partner of GMS Talent LP, etc . The purpose of this workshop is to help develop our skills and enhance personal growth.
