It’s time once again for our annual STS-AIChE trip on the Houston Ship Channel! We are scheduled for Saturday evening, June 6 (D-Day), from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Sign up will start at the May 7 STS-AIChE meeting, after which we will open sign up on the Web site. Watch this site and check the May newsletter for all pertinent details.
Three meat barbecue will be furnished by Lenox Barbecue. The meats are beef brisket, chicken, and sausage. They will also provide all of the side dishes including potato salad, cole slaw, and beans along with onions, pickles, and lots of jalapenos. We also will have assorted pies, and baked potatoes will be provided for vegetarians.

Are you interested in obtaining an advanced degree? The University of Houston's Department of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering offers several masters level programs in the chemical engineering discipline tailored for the working professional. Many of the courses are taught in the later afternoon or evening and research projects can be conducted in the evening and weekends. Programs are available for a non-thesis Master of Chemical Engineering, thesis-based Master of Science, or course-based Master of Science.
